Privacy Policy

■ Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information

  • Kotnix (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:
    • - To provide services and content, secure basic data for web consulting, utilize for marketing, process consultation requests, handle purchases and payments, and ensure smooth communication channels

■ Items of Personal Information Collected and Collection Methods

  • The Company collects and processes the following items:
    • - Required items: Company name, contact information, contact person, email

■ Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

  • In principle, the Company destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use is achieved. If retention is required by relevant laws, it will be kept for a specified period:
    • - Online inquiries: 1 year (Information and Communications Network Act)
    • - Records of website visits: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
    • - Records of consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)

■ Destruction of Personal Information

  • 1) The Company destroys personal information within 7 days when it is no longer needed due to expiration of retention period or achievement of processing purpose.
  • 2) If personal information must still be retained under other laws even after the consented retention period or achievement of purpose, it will be moved to a separate database or stored in a different location.
  • 3) The procedures and methods for destruction are as follows:
    • - Destruction procedure: The Company selects personal information to be destroyed and obtains approval from the person responsible for personal information management.
    • - Destruction method: Electronic files are destroyed using methods such as Low Level Format so that the information cannot be recovered; paper documents are shredded or incinerated.

■ Rights and Duties of Users and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them

  • 1) Users can exercise the following rights regarding personal information at any time:
    • - Same destruction procedure and method as described above.
  • 2) Rights can be exercised through written requests, phone calls, emails, or fax, and the Company will act without delay.
  • 3) If a user requests correction or deletion of personal information, the Company will not use or provide the information until the correction or deletion is completed.
  • 4) For children under 14, rights may be exercised by their legal representatives or authorized agents, who hold all rights on behalf of the child.
  • 5) Users must not infringe on the privacy of themselves or others in violation of the Information and Communications Network Act or Personal Information Protection Act.

■ Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices

  • The Company uses cookies to provide personalized and customized services by storing and retrieving users’ information:
    • 1) Purpose of cookies: Analyze access frequency and visit times for members and non-members, track user preferences and interests, monitor participation in events, and provide marketing and personalized services.
    • 2) How to refuse cookies: Users can refuse cookie installation; however, some services requiring login may be unavailable if cookies are disabled.
